Course Description

Many people read the Bible today, but do they understand the Bible? The deacon Philip asked the Ethiopian eunuch while he was reading a portion of Scripture, “Do you understand what you are reading?” (Acts 8:30). There is a difference between reading and understanding what you are reading. Many people quote the Bible today but oftentimes they quote it out of context. Bad Bible reading can lead to very bad theology and the ramifications of this can be colossal and dangerous especially when the Word of God is being distorted. Come and join us for this exciting course where we will learn how to read, but also understand the Bible in its proper context, and learn about “rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).
